How to use

1. 1Drop an image onto the upload area or click to pick a PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, or GIF (up to 25 MB) to use as your meme template.

3. 3Keep the default Impact font and uppercase for the classic look, or change the font, text size, and colors to suit your image.

Meme Generator builds the classic top text and bottom text meme directly in your browser, with both caption boxes rendered at once so you do not have to place text twice. Load any picture you want to use as the template (PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, or the first frame of a GIF, up to 25 MB) by dropping it on the upload area or browsing for it, and the original pixel dimensions are kept end to end so the meme you download is full resolution. Type your top caption and your bottom caption into separate boxes; both are drawn in the meme style at the same time and update live as you type. By default the text is forced to uppercase and set in Impact, the heavy condensed display face people associate with meme captions, with a thick black outline so it stays readable on any background. You can switch the font (Impact, a condensed sans fallback, Arial or Helvetica, or Comic Sans), turn uppercase off, change the text size, and set the text color, outline color, and outline thickness to taste. Two layouts cover the common looks: Text on image draws white outlined captions over the picture at the top and bottom, the standard meme format, while Caption bands place the text on solid color bands added above and below the image in black, the white border meme style that keeps the photo uncovered. Captions wrap automatically and the font auto-shrinks to fit the width, so a long line never spills off the edge or gets clipped. The live preview is the real full-resolution canvas scaled to fit, so what you see is what downloads. When you are happy, pick PNG for the sharpest edges or JPEG for a smaller file, optionally adjust JPEG quality, then render and download. No watermark is added to the result, there is no account, and your image and text are processed entirely on your device and never uploaded.
