About this tool

Pay Raise Calculator turns a current pay rate plus a raise into the new pay across every common period at once. Work in either direction: enter a percent raise (or a negative number for a pay cut), enter a fixed raise amount per hour, per week, per month, or per year, or paste an old and a new pay rate to find out exactly what raise percent that represents. The result shows the raise percent, the annual gross increase, the new annual pay, and a full breakdown comparing old and new pay per hour, per week, every two weeks, twice a month, per month, and per year. The hours-per-week and paid-weeks-per-year inputs let you tune the conversion to match your real schedule (full time at 40 hours, part time at 20, or salaried with two weeks of unpaid leave at 50 weeks). Optionally enter an inflation rate to see the real raise after cost of living, computed with the standard Fisher-style real-rate formula. Pay is expressed as gross, before tax. All math runs locally in your browser, so your pay information never leaves your device.
