Convert any pay rate between hourly, daily, weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and annual. Adjust hours per week, days per week, and paid weeks.

Pay rate

Frequency

Convert from an hourly wage to annual, monthly, weekly, and other equivalents.

Schedule

40 is the common full-time default in the US and Canada; 37.5 or 35 are common in the UK and parts of Europe.

Used for the daily rate row.

Use 52 for paid year-round, or subtract weeks of unpaid leave (50 for two weeks unpaid, 48 for four).

Quick presets

Presets seed the amount, frequency, and schedule. Adjust any field after applying.

How the math works

  • annual = hourly * hoursPerWeek * weeksPerYear
  • monthly = annual / 12
  • semi-monthly = annual / 24 (twice a month, fixed pay periods)
  • biweekly = annual / 26 (every two weeks, fixed pay periods)
  • weekly = annual / weeksPerYear
  • daily = weekly / daysPerWeek
  • hourly = weekly / hoursPerWeek

Figures are gross pay before tax, social contributions, retirement, and other deductions. Net pay depends on your jurisdiction and personal situation; check with a tax professional for take-home estimates.

How to use

  1. Enter the pay amount you know in the Amount field and pick the matching Frequency (hourly, daily, weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly, or annual).

  3. Set hours per week (40 is full-time in the US and Canada; 37.5 or 35 are common in the UK and parts of Europe), days per week, and paid weeks per year (52 for paid year-round, 50 for two weeks unpaid).

  5. Read the equivalent rates panel for annual, monthly, semi-monthly, biweekly, weekly, daily, and hourly figures, and use any inline Copy button or Copy summary to grab the numbers.

About this tool

Hourly to Salary Converter turns any pay rate into every common pay frequency at once. Enter an amount and pick the frequency you know (per hour, per day, per week, every two weeks, twice a month, per month, or per year), then set how many hours and days you work each week and how many paid weeks you have per year, and the tool computes annual, monthly, semi-monthly, biweekly, weekly, daily, and hourly equivalents side by side. The math is the standard pay-rate identity: annual = hourly * hoursPerWeek * weeksPerYear, monthly = annual / 12, semi-monthly = annual / 24, biweekly = annual / 26, weekly = annual / weeksPerYear, daily = weekly / daysPerWeek, and hourly = weekly / hoursPerWeek. Configurable paid weeks let you account for unpaid leave: 52 is paid year-round, 50 reflects two weeks unpaid, 48 reflects four. A currency selector covers USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, INR, and TRY, formatted with Intl.NumberFormat for proper grouping and decimals; presets seed common scenarios in one click (15 or 20 dollars per hour at 40 hours, 50K or 75K or 100K annual salary, a UK 30K salary at 37.5 hours, or hourly with two weeks unpaid leave). The result panel highlights the row that matches your input frequency, shows the implied hours per year and paid days per year, and includes copy buttons on every row plus a single Copy summary that grabs every equivalent rate as plain text. All figures are gross pay before tax, social contributions, retirement, and other deductions; net pay depends on your jurisdiction and personal situation, so confirm take-home estimates with a tax professional. Useful for comparing job offers, sizing a freelance hourly rate against a target annual income, planning a switch between salary and contract work, working out what 15, 20, 25, 30, or 40 dollars an hour comes to per year, or answering the inverse question of what 50K, 60K, 75K, or 100K a year works out to per hour. Pay rates and schedule details stay in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
