About this tool

Word Cloud Generator turns any block of text into a visual cloud where each word's size reflects how often it appears. Paste an article, a transcript, customer reviews, an essay, a survey response set, or a chapter of prose, and the tool tokenizes the input with a Unicode-aware word matcher that keeps apostrophes inside contractions, counts every unique word, drops short tokens and pure numbers on request, applies a curated English stop-word list with your own custom hide list on top, then sizes the top entries on a log scale so the largest word dominates without making the smallest unreadable. Layout uses an Archimedean spiral with a bounding-box overlap test so words pack tightly around the canvas center and grow outward, mirroring the behavior of the well-known D3 word-cloud library. You pick the canvas size (square, wide, tall, story, or wallpaper), one of seven palettes built for both dark and light backgrounds, a sans, serif, mono, or display font in bold or black weight, and an optional mixed-rotation mode that turns roughly thirty percent of words 90 degrees for a busier composition. The result renders to a live canvas at the full pixel size you chose, with a transparent-background toggle for PNG export, a Re-render button to try a fresh spiral seed, and a Download PNG button that saves a clean high-resolution image. A top-words table sits below the preview so you can spot which terms drove the cloud and add any unwanted ones to the hide list. Everything runs on your device. The text you paste is never uploaded.
