PDF file
How to use
- Drop a PDF onto the upload zone or click Choose file. The PDF is read in your browser, up to 200 MB.
- Use Rotate all 90 deg right, Rotate all 90 deg left, or Rotate all 180 deg to spin every page at once.
- Use the 90 deg right and 90 deg left buttons next to a single page to fix only that page. Pages that will change show a highlighted border so you can spot them at a glance.
- Click Build rotated PDF to write the new file, then click Download to save it. Existing /Rotate values and the inherited orientation are replaced by your chosen value.
- Use Reset all to clear your changes, or Clear to start over with a different PDF.
About this tool
PDF Rotator turns sideways or upside-down PDFs the right way up and saves the rotation directly into the file so every reader (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Adobe Acrobat, Preview, Edge, Foxit) displays the page in the orientation you picked and prints it the same way. Drop a PDF, click Rotate all 90 deg right, Rotate all 90 deg left, or Rotate all 180 deg to spin the whole document, or fine-tune one page at a time when only a few scans came in crooked. The rotator parses the PDF in place, writes a fresh /Rotate value on each page dictionary, and emits a clean PDF 1.7 file with a new catalog and pages tree. Stream payloads (image data, embedded fonts, content streams) are copied byte-for-byte without ever being decompressed, so visual fidelity matches the source and file size stays roughly the same. Annotations attached to a page (highlights, comments, links) travel with that page because they live under the page dictionary. The tool supports files up to 200 MB and shows the source orientation, the new orientation, and how many pages will change before you commit. Everything happens in your browser. The PDF is never uploaded, so confidential contracts, signed agreements, medical records, financial statements, internal reports, legal exhibits, and scanned ID documents stay on your device.
