The PNG is drawn in your browser from the current board. The text copy lists each tier and its items, handy for forums and chat.
How to use
- Give the board a title, then keep the default S to F tiers or edit them: rename a tier, change its color, reorder it, add a tier, or delete one.
- Add items in the box at the bottom: type or paste names one per line and click Add items, or click Add images to bring in your own pictures (read locally, never uploaded).
- New items appear in the unranked pool. Drag a tile onto a tier to rank it, or on a phone tap a tile to select it and then tap a tier label.
- Reorder tiles within a tier by dropping them between others, and move a tile back by dragging it to the pool or using the Move all back to pool button.
- Remove a single tile with the x on the tile, or clear everything with Remove all items to start over.
- Click Download PNG to save the finished tier list as an image, or Copy as text to grab a plain list of each tier and its items.
About this tool
Tier List Maker lets you build a ranking chart, the S / A / B / C / D / F style grid people use to rank anything from games and characters to foods, movies, and team picks, entirely in your browser. Start from the six default tiers or edit them freely: rename any tier, change its color with a color picker, reorder tiers up or down, add new tiers up to twelve, or delete the ones you do not need. Items come in two forms. Type or paste a list of names, one per line, and each line becomes a labelled tile (lines beginning with # are treated as comments and skipped, so a pasted list can be annotated). Or add your own images: pictures are read locally with the browser FileReader, shown as cover-fit thumbnails, and held only in the current page, never sent anywhere. New items land in an unranked pool, and you sort them into tiers two ways so the tool works on every device. On a desktop you can drag a tile and drop it onto any tier, with a live insertion marker showing where it will land and the ability to reorder within a tier or move a tile back to the pool. On a phone or tablet, where browser drag-and-drop is unreliable, you tap a tile to select it and then tap a tier label to place it, which is the dependable path on touch. A title field names the board, and two export options finish the job: Download PNG renders the whole tier list onto a canvas at a fixed width and saves it as an image you can post or share, and Copy as text produces a plain list (each tier followed by its items, plus any unranked entries) that pastes cleanly into a forum, a chat message, or notes. Everything is computed and rendered on your device. The names you type and the images you add are never uploaded, logged, or stored, which is why there is no account and no server step. Useful for gaming and anime ranking videos, food and drink debates, sports drafts, design and product comparisons, classroom voting, and any time you want to turn a pile of options into a clear, shareable ranking.
