What this tool does
- JPEG inputs are embedded with their original bytes via the
/DCTDecodefilter, so quality is preserved and the PDF stays compact. - PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP are decoded by your browser and re-encoded to JPEG with your quality slider before they go into the PDF.
- Auto page sizes each page to the image. Named sizes (A4, Letter, Legal, A3, A5, Tabloid) work in portrait or landscape with margins and a fit mode.
- Reorder pages with the up and down buttons before you build the PDF.
- Each page is one image. To build a multi-image-per-page sheet, combine the images first and add the result as a single page.
- All processing runs in your browser. The images you add never leave your device, and the resulting PDF is generated locally.
Output is a PDF 1.4 file with one page per image. Compatible with every major viewer including Preview, Adobe Acrobat, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.
How to use
- Drop your images onto the upload area or click to choose JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or BMP files. Up to 30 images per PDF.
- Reorder pages by pressing the up and down buttons on each thumbnail. Use Remove to drop a page, or Clear all to start over.
- Pick a page size: Auto sizes each page to the image, or choose A4, Letter, Legal, A3, A5, or Tabloid with portrait or landscape orientation, a fit mode (Fit, Fill, Stretch), and a margin in millimetres.
- If you have non-JPEG inputs, drag the JPEG quality slider to control how PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP images are re-encoded before they go into the PDF.
- Click Build PDF, then Download to save the result. Your images are processed locally; nothing is uploaded.
About this tool
Image to PDF Converter combines one or many images into a single PDF document entirely in your browser. Drop a folder of JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), or BMP files and get a real, multi-page PDF with one image per page, ready to download. The tool builds a valid PDF 1.4 file from raw bytes (no SaaS, no PDF library that ships its own bundle of fonts and parsers), so the resulting file opens cleanly in Preview, Adobe Acrobat, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and any standards-compliant viewer. JPEG inputs are embedded with their original DCT-encoded bytes via the standard /DCTDecode filter, which means the bytes that come out of your camera or screenshot pipeline are the bytes that go into the PDF: no transcoding, no quality loss, no surprise size growth. Other formats (PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP) are decoded by the browser's native image pipeline, drawn into an HTMLCanvasElement, and re-encoded to JPEG with the quality slider you control. Page sizing is flexible: Auto sizes each page to the image (with selectable 96 DPI for screenshots or 72 DPI for print), or you can pick a named size (A4, US Letter, US Legal, A3, A5, Tabloid) in portrait, landscape, or auto orientation, with margins from 0 to 50 mm. Fit modes (Fit, Fill, Stretch) decide how the image sits inside a named page. Reorder pages with the up and down buttons, remove individual images, or clear the lot and start over. The result is a single .pdf Blob you download with one click. Useful for combining receipts, expense scans, contract signatures, ID photos, screenshots, design comps, sketches, and product photos into a single document for an email attachment, a CMS upload, a tax filing, an insurance claim, a job application, a school assignment, a Kindle send-to file, or any place a PDF is the only accepted format. Conversion runs locally in your browser, so the photos and scanned documents you add never leave your device, which makes the tool safe for invoices, ID scans, signed contracts, medical records, and other documents you would rather not upload to a third-party server. The PDF stores one image per page; it does not OCR images into searchable text, and it does not fit multiple images on one page. To make a multi-image sheet, combine the images first and add the result as a single page.
