About this tool

Extract Numbers from Text scans any text you paste and pulls out every numeric value, leaving the words and punctuation behind. It is built for the everyday task of lifting figures out of invoices, logs, reports, spreadsheets pasted as text, chat messages, and scraped pages so you can reuse them somewhere else. You control what counts as a number: match all numbers, integers only, or decimals only, and choose whether a leading plus or minus sign, thousands separators like 1,234,567, and scientific notation such as 1.5e-3 are recognized. Currency symbols and percent signs around a value are ignored, so 1,200.50 and 30% still yield 1200.5 and 30. The extracted numbers can be deduplicated, sorted from low to high or high to low, and emitted one per line, comma separated, or space separated, ready to paste into a spreadsheet or code. A statistics panel reports how many numbers were found along with their sum, average, minimum, and maximum, which is handy for a quick total without opening a calculator. Everything runs locally in your browser, so the text you paste is never uploaded to a server.
