Common questions
- How does month math work?Adding 1 month to January 31 lands on the last day of February (28 or 29), not March 3, so end-of-month dates always stay in the target month.
- What counts as a business day?Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday are skipped. The tool does not factor in country-specific public holidays.
- Which time zone is used?Your local time zone, the same one your browser uses for native date and time inputs.
- Does the input get uploaded? No. Every calculation runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and there is no signup.
How to use
- Pick whether to count from today or from a specific start date.

About this tool
Date Calculator answers the question "what date will it be in N days, weeks, months, or years?" and its mirror "what date was it N units ago?". Pick today as your starting point or set any specific start date, type how much to add or subtract, choose your unit (days, weeks, months, years, hours, or minutes), and the result appears instantly with the matching weekday, ISO format, US format, UK format, day of year, and ISO week number. Quick presets cover the most-searched cases (30, 60, 90 days from today, 6 weeks out, 1 month from today, 30 days ago, 10 business days from today) so you can jump to an answer in one click. The business-day mode walks Monday through Friday only and skips Saturdays and Sundays, useful for delivery windows, payroll, contract notice periods, and any deadline that ignores weekends. Month and year math is calendar-aware and clamps to the right end of the month, so January 31 plus one month lands on the last day of February (28 or 29 in a leap year), not on March 3 the way naive setMonth arithmetic would produce. The result panel also shows whether the resulting year is a leap year, the day of year out of 365 or 366, and how many days the result is from today, so you have full context without flipping back to a separate tool. Useful for project deadlines, contract dates, refund and return windows, payroll, course schedules, anniversaries, due dates, expiry dates, immigration paperwork timelines, and quick "what day will it be?" answers. Everything runs in your browser, in your local time zone, and nothing is uploaded to a server.
