How to use
- Pick a mode: Single step for a quick conversion rate, Target rate for planning, or Multi-step funnel for a top-to-bottom breakdown.
- Type visitors and conversions (or your target rate and the value you know). The result panel updates on every keystroke; errors are reported inline.
- Toggle Add spend to compute CPA, and Add average order value to compute revenue, RPV, and ROAS. Both are optional.
- In Funnel mode, add or remove stages (two to six), rename them, and watch the per-step rate, drop-off, and end-to-end conversion. The biggest drop is highlighted automatically.
- Click Copy summary to grab a plain-text report of the inputs and results for a doc, Slack message, or campaign brief.
About this tool
Conversion Rate Calculator turns visitor and conversion counts into the metrics marketers actually plan around. Single-step mode takes a count of visitors and conversions and reports the conversion rate (CR) to three decimal places, the complement, the count of non-converters, and a plain-English 1 in N visitor ratio. Add optional ad spend to compute cost per acquisition (CPA), and add an average order value (AOV) to compute total revenue, revenue per visitor (RPV), and return on ad spend (ROAS). Target mode flips the problem around: enter a target conversion rate and choose whether to solve for the conversions you will get from a fixed traffic plan or the visitors you need to land a fixed conversion goal. Quick-pick buttons cover the common benchmarks (0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 15 percent) so you can sanity-check landing page goals without typing. Multi-step funnel mode handles two to six stages, top down, and computes per-step conversion (Stage N divided by Stage N-1), absolute drop-off, and the cumulative end-to-end conversion rate from the top stage to the bottom. The step with the largest absolute drop is highlighted automatically, which is usually where conversion optimisation work earns the highest return. Optional total spend produces a CPA against the final stage and optional AOV produces total revenue, RPV against the top of the funnel, and ROAS. Currency is display only via Intl.NumberFormat: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, INR, and TRY are supported and no exchange rates are fetched. Every input is validated; impossible scenarios (zero visitors, more conversions than visitors, a downstream stage larger than its parent) trigger clear inline errors instead of misleading numbers. All calculations run in the browser, nothing is sent to a server, and the Copy summary button captures a plain-text report you can paste into a doc, a Slack thread, or a campaign brief.
